Will my bill really go to zero?
Your energy charges can go to zero — the KSEB fixed charges continue to apply. Every system we design is sized to generate at least what you consume over the year, and net metering credits surplus units against night and monsoon usage. Where roof area is limited we offset the maximum possible and tell you the exact figure upfront. Use the calculator, then run the Scout check to confirm the sizing fits your grid connection.
What if my transformer can't take the export?
Scout tells you before we visit. In most cases a small load increase or shared transformer upgrade solves it; otherwise a hybrid (solar + battery) system can work with limited or no export to the grid.
Do I need a battery?
Not for savings alone — grid-tied solar with net metering already takes energy charges to zero and pays back fastest. You need a battery if power cuts matter, if you want night-time solar use, or if you charge an EV overnight. Our LiFePO₄ batteries are silent and long-lived.
Can I finance it?
Bank loans over 5–10 years are available, where the EMI is often lower than the bill it replaces. We also support lease and PPA models for commercial customers. Terms depend on the lender.
How does the PM Surya Ghar subsidy reach me?
We handle the paperwork. The subsidy is paid by Direct Benefit Transfer to your bank account, typically 30–45 days after DISCOM inspection and commissioning. You select SOLAR CONNECT as your vendor on pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
What's covered under warranty?
Panel performance warranty of 25 years; inverter, battery and workmanship warranties depend on the components in your quote and are stated in writing before you order.
